Brunilde di Menzione, Primitivo Riserva di Manduria 2020

The name Brunilde di Menzione is synonymous in southern Italy as a producer of exceptional wines using only local, indigenous grape varieties. Their Primitivo di Manduria Riserva 2020 is made using 100% Primitivo; the grapes were harvested and then spent 12 months in oak prior to bottling. Intense ruby red colour with a bouquet of blackcurrant, bramble, blackberry and sweet-spicy notes. On the palate it is well-balanced with mature/cooked black fruits flavours, vanilla and oak; medium tannins and a long fruity finish. This wine is ideal with grilled meats, pasta dishes and cheese.
